My Pregnancy Photo Shoot

Since the beginning of my pregnancy, I dreamt of the things I would like to do in order to immortalize as many moments of my pregnancy as I possibly could. So I was constantly on Pinterest searching and searching for ideas and things to do. A pregnancy photo shoot was just one of them on my little “to do” list and I am so grateful and happy that I can finally share it with you.

I was 36 weeks pregnant when we took these lovely pictures and I am proud to say that the photographer was my dear husband. This way, I would like to address a massive “thank you” for his patience and kindness throughout my pregnancy journey; in fact, our journey. Hormones are a huge deal and they can be really tough on people surrounding you, especially your partner.

But, going back on the day of the photoshoot, it was actually a beautiful day: very hot and sunny. I have to say that being a 36 weeks-pregnant lady and posing in a hot weather with more than 25 degrees, it was really hard to handle. Therefore, if you decide that you would like a bump photo shoot, I would highly recommend having it prior to the 35-36 week mark. It will be much easier to handle for you and for the photographer. It’s really difficult and annoying at the same time, to take a bench-brake every 10-15 minutes.

Now, we can finally, stand back, relax and prepare for our little prince’s arrival. He will definitely change our lives for ever!

Until next time, take care & stay beautiful!
